Amazon seller fees explained (simply)

Know exactly where your money goes before you price a product.

Referral fee

A percentage of each sale (often around 15%) that Amazon takes for the sale itself.

FBA fulfillment fee

A per-unit fee for picking, packing and shipping, based on size and weight.

Storage fees

Monthly charges for the space your inventory uses in Amazon warehouses — higher in peak season.

Ad costs

PPC spend is not an Amazon fee, but it is a real cost per unit you must include in your margin.

💡 Add every fee before you price — a “cheap” product can still lose money.
