Plain-English definitions of the Amazon FBA terms you will meet along the way.

FBA
Fulfillment by Amazon — Amazon stores, packs and ships your products and handles returns and support.
FBM
Fulfillment by Merchant — you store and ship orders yourself instead of using Amazon fulfillment.
ASIN
Amazon Standard Identification Number — the unique ID for every product on Amazon.
BSR
Best Sellers Rank — a rank showing how well a product sells in its category; lower means more sales.
ACoS
Advertising Cost of Sales — ad spend divided by ad sales. Lower is more efficient.
TACoS
Total Advertising Cost of Sales — ad spend as a share of total (organic + ad) sales.
PPC
Pay-Per-Click — Amazon advertising where you pay when a shopper clicks your ad.
A+ Content
Enhanced brand content with rich images and text modules, available through Brand Registry.
Buy Box
The featured offer that wins the “Add to Cart” button on a product page.
MOQ
Minimum Order Quantity — the smallest quantity a supplier will produce or sell.
Private Label
Selling a product under your own brand, usually manufactured by a third-party supplier.
Brand Registry
Amazon’s program for trademarked brands, unlocking A+ content, stores and extra protection.
FNSKU
Fulfillment Network SKU — the barcode Amazon uses to identify your specific units in FBA.
Listing
The product page: title, bullets, description, images and keywords.
Keyword
A search term buyers type; targeting the right ones helps you rank and convert.
Opportunity Score
A combined score of demand, competition, margin and logistics used to rank products in AzonRadar.
